Sacred Scripture is the only infallible and inerrant rule of faith and practice.
GTC upholds the Westminster Confession of Faith, the London Confession of 1689, the Heidelberg Catechism, and other compatible reformed creeds. GTC adheres to the five foundational principles of the XVI Century Reformation:
SOLA SCRIPTURA: The inerrant Bible, SCRIPTURE ALONE is the ultimate authority.
SOLA GRATIA: Salvation is a gift of God, by GRACE ALONE, never by man’s works.
SOLA FIDE: Salvation is by FAITH ALONE. Good works are only the evidence of faith in the believer’s heart.
SOLUS CHRISTUS: CHRIST ALONE paid in full for the salvation of the believer regenerated by God. Christ is the only mediator between God and man.
SOLI DEO GLORIA: Salvation is TO THE GLORY OF THE TRIUNE GOD ALONE.
